Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonitrided component having a shape including an edge part and excellent in temper softening resistance and bending fatigue strength, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbonitrided component 100 which is excellent in bending fatigue strength and in which: a core part has a composition containing, by mass%, C:0.10 to 0.25%, Si:0.03 to 0.49% Mn:0.30 to 1.50%, P:0.030% or less, S:0.060% or less, Cr:0.90 to 3.00%, Al:0.100% or less and N:0.030% or less and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities; a flat part 3 has a particle boundary oxidation layer depth of 1 μm or less; a flat part surface area has carbon concentration of 0.70% to 0.89%, a nitrogen concentration of 0.20% to 0.70% and a deposit density of carbide and/or nitride of 0.5/μmor more; and edge part surface area has a maximum length of the deposit of carbide and/or nitride of 5.0 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】エッジ部を含む形状を有し、焼き戻し軟化抵抗および曲げ疲労強度に優れた浸炭窒化部品およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】芯部が、質量%で、C:0.10〜0.25%、Si:0.03〜0.49%、Mn:0.30〜1.50%、P:0.030%以下、S:0.060%以下、Cr:0.90〜3.00%、Al:0.100%以下およびN:0.030%以下を含有し、残部がFeおよび不純物からなる化学組成を有し、平坦部3の粒界酸化層深さが1μm以下であり、平坦部表層領域は、炭素濃度が0.70%以上0.89%以下、窒素濃度が0.20%以上0.70%以下、炭化物および/または窒化物の析出物密度が0.5個/μm2以上であり、エッジ部表層領域は、前記炭化物および/または窒化物の析出物の最大長さが5.0μm以下である曲げ疲労強度に優れた浸炭窒化部品100とする。【選択図】図1
