Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in a vehicle body intrusion amount caused by fracture of a hole part occurring when breakage of a side sill side surface part reaches the hole part at a side collision.SOLUTION: A side body structure includes a side sill 1 extending in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle, a center pillar 2 extending in a vertical direction of the vehicle, and a connection part C which connects a lower end part of the center pillar 2 to the side sill 1. The side sill 1 includes a bead 3 on a front or rear side of the connection part C of a side surface part 12c, and an electrodeposition hole 4 on a lower surface part 12B. The bead 3 is formed so as to extend downward as farther from the center pillar 2 in a vehicle side view. The bead 3 and electrodeposition hole 4 are arranged so that the electrodeposition hole 4 is not positioned on an extended line L along a surface of the side sill 1 in a direction D which the bead 3 extends in the vehicle side view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】側突時にサイドシル側面部の折れが穴部に到達し、穴部が破断することによる車体侵入量増加の抑制を図ること。【解決手段】車両の前後方向に延在するサイドシル1と、車両の上下方向に延在するセンターピラー2と、該センターピラー2の下端部をサイドシル1に結合する結合部Cと、を備え、サイドシル1は、その側面部12Cの結合部Cの前方または後方にビード3を、その下面部12Bに電着孔4をそれぞれ有し、ビード3は、車両側面視でセンターピラー2から離れる程下方に延びるように形成され、車両側面視で、ビード3の延びる方向Dのサイドシル1面に沿った延長線L上に電着孔4が位置しないように、ビード3と電着孔4とが配設された。【選択図】図2 |
