PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating PCB contaminated material other than nonferrous/metals capable of removing various kinds of washing solvents after washing the PCB contaminated material other than nonferrous/metals such as a paper element as the PCB contaminated material.SOLUTION: An apparatus for treating PCB contaminated material other than nonferrous/metals separates washing solvent 12 impregnated into PCB contamination treated material 11 washed by a washing device 13, dries solvent removed PCB contamination treated material 11B from which the washing solvent 12 is removed and determines the presence or absence of PCB contained in dried PCB contamination treated material 11C with an elution determination device 16. A washing solvent separation device 16 includes a centrifugal separation device 52 which centrifugally separates and dehydrates PCB contamination treated material 11A, spray means which sprays the washing solvent 12 to the PCB contamination treated material 11A in the centrifugal separation device 52 and a solvent recovering part 34 which recovers the centrifugally separated washing solvent 12, and separates solvent alternately repeating spray of the washing solvent 12 by means of the spray means and centrifugal separation by means of the centrifugal separation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】ＰＣＢ汚染物である紙素子等の非鉄・金属類以外のＰＣＢ汚染物質を洗浄した後で、各種洗浄溶剤を除去することができる非鉄・金属類以外のＰＣＢ汚染物質の処理装置を提供すること。【解決手段】非鉄・金属類以外のＰＣＢ汚染物質の処理装置は、洗浄装置１３で洗浄したＰＣＢ汚染処理物１１中に含浸する洗浄溶剤１２を分離し、洗浄溶剤１２を除去した溶剤除去ＰＣＢ汚染処理物１１Ｂを乾燥し、乾燥後の乾燥ＰＣＢ汚染処理物１１Ｃ中の含有ＰＣＢの有無を溶出判定装置１６で判定する。洗浄溶剤分離装置１６が、ＰＣＢ汚染処理物１１Ａを遠心分離して脱水する遠心分離装置５２と、遠心分離装置５２内のＰＣＢ汚染処理物１１Ａに洗浄溶剤１２を噴霧する噴霧手段と、遠心分離された洗浄溶剤１２を回収する溶剤回収部３４とを具備し、噴霧手段による洗浄溶剤１２の噴霧と遠心分離装置による遠心分離とを交互に繰り返して溶剤分離する。【選択図】図５
