Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched reluctance rotating machine capable of improving performance by high magnetic flux density in a salient pole of a rotor.SOLUTION: A switched reluctance motor 1 includes: a rotor 10 with a plurality of rotor salient poles 12, 13 on an outer peripheral surface 11a and an inner peripheral surface 11b; an outer stator 20 and an inner stator 30 with a plurality of coils 23, 33 capable of facing the rotor salient poles 12, 13 in the radial direction of the rotor 10. The rotor 10 has a plurality of core pieces 40 continuous to each other in the peripheral direction.
