Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization composition containing iron hydroxide for removing a malodorous component such as hydrogen sulfide and a manufacturing method of the deodorization composition.SOLUTION: A deodorization composition excellent in removing a malodorous component such as hydrogen sulfide can be obtained by using a manufacturing method having a process for producing titanium oxide and iron hydroxide by mixing a solution containing trivalent iron salt and alkali and freezing and melting it with a status containing water. A deodorization composition excellent in performance can be obtained by containing iron hydroxide manufactured by adjusting pH to 4 to 11 with adding trivalent iron salt and alkali and conducting drying after freezing and melting process.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】硫化水素を代表とする悪臭成分を除去するための、水酸化鉄を含有する脱臭組成物および水酸化鉄を含有する脱臭組成物の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】3価の鉄塩を含有する水溶液とアルカリを混合することによって水酸化鉄を生成し、水を含んだ状態で凍結および融解工程を有する製造方法を用いて、硫化水素等の悪臭成分を除去する性能に優れた脱臭組成物を得ることができる。また3価の鉄塩とアルカリを添加することによってpHを4〜11に調整し、凍結および融解工程を行った後に乾燥を行うことによって調製した水酸化鉄と、酸化チタンを含有させることでより性能に優れた脱臭組成物を得ることができる。【選択図】 なし
