Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly fill an imaging lens and an image sensor part with at least a transparent material to allow an imaging apparatus to easily capture images under a high water pressure.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is placed in a sea bottom, obtains images of the sea bottom, and has: an imaging lens; an image sensor; an electronic circuit; and a pressure resistant housing. The imaging lens, image sensor, and electronic circuit are housed in the pressure resistant housing. An interior part of the pressure resistant housing is filled with a filler.
