PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small vehicle seat slide device.SOLUTION: A lock mechanism 11 forming a vehicle seat slide device 10 includes: a control lever 12 which is inserted into a space between an upper rail 6 and a lower rail 5 and supported on the upper rail 6 so as to swing; a lock member 14 which moves between the upper rail 6 and the lower rail 5 in conjunction with the control lever 12 and is displaced between a lock position, at which the lock member 14 restricts relative movement of the rails 5, 6, and an unlock position, at which the lock member 14 allows the relative movement of the rails 5, 6; and a lever spring 13 which biases the control lever 12 so that the lock member 14 is held at the lock position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】小型の車両用のシートスライド装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用のシートスライド装置１０を構成するロック機構１１は、アッパレール６とロアレール５との間に挿入されるとともにアッパレール６に揺動可能に支持される操作レバー１２と、アッパレール６とロアレール５との間に操作レバー１２に連れ動きして両レール５，６の相対移動を規制するロック位置と両レール５，６の相対移動を許容するアンロック位置との間を変位するロック部材１４と、ロック部材１４がロック位置に保持されるように操作レバー１２を付勢するレバースプリング１３とを有する。【選択図】図６
