Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide type fuel battery capable of suppressing leakage of fuel gas supplied to a fuel electrode to the outside and mixing of the fuel gas with air supplied to an air electrode.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel battery 1 includes a unit battery 30 having an air electrode 32 and a fuel electrode 33 provided on both the surfaces of solid oxide electrolyte 31, and a fuel electrode-side separator 20 disposed outside the fuel electrode 33 of the unit cell 30. A internal seal member 62 for blocking flow of gas is provided between a surface of the unit cell 30 on a side at which the fuel electrode 33 is provided, and the fuel electrode-side separator 20.
