Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste of electric power under respective states of a processing section, on assumption that the processing section shifts between a plurality of states with at least different power supply modes, when power supply to the processing section is controlled according to a detecting state of a mobile body.SOLUTION: A first human sensor 28 and a second human sensor 30 have basic functions to perform shift control to a standby mode (an operation mode 1) by detecting a mobile body (a user) during a sleep mode, when the user temporarily moves away from an image processor 10, perform partial power-saving control during a running mode (an operation mode 2) for increasing an energy saving object; and perform shift control to the sleep mode (an operation mode 3) by detecting no mobile body (no user) during the standby mode, the shift control being performed combined with shift control by a timer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】移動体の検出状態で処理部への電力供給を制御する場合に、当該処理部が少なくとも電力供給形態が異なる複数の状態の間を遷移することを前提として、当該処理部の各状態の下で電力の無駄を改善する。【解決手段】第1の人感センサ28、第2の人感センサ30は、スリープモード中に移動体(使用者)の検出によるスタンバイモードへの遷移制御(動作形態1)、使用者が一時的に画像処理装置10を離れた場合に、節電対象を増加するランニングモード中部分節電制御(動作形態2)、タイマによる遷移制御と併用するスタンバイモード中に移動体(使用者)の未検出によるスリープモードへの遷移制御(動作形態3)を基本機能とする。【選択図】図3
