Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyethylene which has excellent balance among moldability, rigidity and impact resistance, and particularly, has excellent balance between impact strength against impact causing cracks parallel to an orientation direction of a resin and flowability; and to provide a molded article using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided polyethylene for thin-wall injection molding which contains 1-50 wt.% of a component (A) and 99-50 wt.% of a component (B), and satisfies conditions (1) and (2). The component (A) is polyethylene which has an MFR polymerized with a metallocene catalyst of 0.1-100 g/10 minutes, a density of 0.860-0.930 g/cm, and a molecular weight distribution measured by GPC of 1.0-5.0. The component (B) is polyethylene which has an MFR of 10-500 g/10 minutes, and a density of 0.950-0.970 g/cm. The condition (1) has an MFR of 10-100 g/10 minutes. The condition (2) has a density of more than 0.920 and 0.968 g/cmor less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】成形性、剛性と耐衝撃性とのバランスに優れ、特に樹脂の配向方向に平行な割れを引き起こす衝撃に対する衝撃強度と流動性のバランスに優れるポリエチレン及びそれを用いた成形品の提供。【解決手段】成分(A)が1〜50重量%及び成分(B)が99〜50重量%を含み、条件(1)〜(2)を満足する薄肉射出成形用ポリエチレン。成分(A):メタロセン触媒により重合された、MFRが0.1〜100g/10分、密度が0.860〜0.930g/cm3、GPCにて測定される分子量分布が1.0〜5.0であるポリエチレン。成分(B):MFRが10〜500g/10分、密度が0.950〜0.970g/cm3であるポリエチレン。条件(1):MFRが10〜100g/10分である。条件(2):密度が0.920を超え0.968g/cm3以下である。【選択図】なし
