PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib mounting and dismounting device and a jib mounting and dismounting method for a mobile crane which can improve a work efficiency.SOLUTION: A connection member 54 to which rotation force of a power source is transmitted is connected to an operation portion 53a which is formed in a columnar shape to be rotatable centered on a center shaft and operates a jib engagement/disengagement mechanism 50, and the operation portion 53a is operated by rotation force of the power source. This allows the operation portion 53a to be reliably operated even when the jib engagement/disengagement mechanism 50 which engages/disengages a jib 40 to/from a tip of an extension boom 21 gets rusty and runs out of applied lubricant, which can improve a work efficiency of work for mounting/dismounting the jib 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】作業効率を向上させることのできる移動式クレーンのジブ着脱装置及びジブ着脱方法を提供する。【解決手段】中心軸を中心に回転可能な柱状に形成され、ジブ係脱機構５０を操作する操作部５３ａに、動力源の回転力が伝達される連結部材５４を連結させ、動力源の回転力によって操作部５３ａを操作する。これにより、伸縮ブーム２１の先端に対してジブ４０を係脱するジブ係脱機構５０に錆びが生じたり、塗布されている潤滑剤がなくなったりした場合においても、確実に操作部５３ａを操作することが可能となるので、ジブ４０を着脱する作業の作業効率を向上させることが可能となる。【選択図】図２
