Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary the color tone of transmission light variously in a structure in which the transmission light is controlled by shifting plates held facing each other.SOLUTION: A color tone adjusting device 1 includes first and second color tone adjusting plates 2 and 3 held facing each other. The first and second color tone adjusting plates 2 and 3 are formed by laminating transparent plate-shaped members 5A and 5B, linear polarizers 7A and 7B, and retardation layers 16A and 16B including a liquid crystal material. The retardation layers 16A and 16B of the first and second color tone adjusting plates 2 and 3 include first and second regions AA and BB whose slow axis directions are orthogonal to each other. The addition value of the phase difference between the retardation layer 16A of the first color tone adjusting plate 2 and the retardation layer 16B of the second color tone adjusting plate 3 is 120 nm or more and 550 nm or less, and the differential value of the phase difference therebetween is 10 nm or more and 215 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】対向するように保持された板材をシフトさせて透過光を制御する構成において、透過光の色味を種々に変化させることができるようにする。【解決手段】第1及び第2の色味調整用板材2及び3を対向するように保持して形成された色味調整装置1であって、第1及び第2の色味調整用板材2及び3は、透明板状部材5A、5Bと、直線偏光板7A、7Bと、液晶材料による位相差層16A、16Bとの積層により形成される。第1及び第2の色味調整用板材2及び3の位相差層16A、16Bは、遅相軸方向が直交する第1及び第2の領域AA、BBが設けられ、第1の色味調整用板材2の位相差層16Aと、第2の色味調整用板材3の位相差層16Bとで、位相差の加算値が120nm以上550nm以下であり、位相差の差分値が10nm以上215nm以下であるようにする。【選択図】図1 |
