Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device and the like which can efficiently store a side edge removed from a sheet in comparison to the case where rigidity is not given to the side edge.SOLUTION: A cutter unit 50 provided in a post-processing device comprises: a cutter part 311 which removes a side edge CS of a sheet S; and a creasing part 312 which gives higher rigidity to the side edge CS removed by the cutter unit 50 than a body MS from which the side edge CS is removed. Following an operation of the cutter unit 50, removal of the side edge CS of the sheet S and formation of a stripe 58 in a longitudinal direction of the removed side edge CS are performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】側縁に剛性を与えない場合に比べ、用紙から除去された側縁が効率よく収容される後処理装置などを提供する。【解決手段】後処理装置の備えるカッターユニット５０は、用紙Ｓの側縁ＣＳを除去するカッター部３１１と、カッターユニット５０で除去される側縁ＣＳに、側縁ＣＳが除去される本体ＭＳに比べ、高い剛性を付与する筋入れ部３１２とを備え、カッターユニット５０の動作に伴って、用紙Ｓの側縁ＣＳの除去と、除去される側縁ＣＳの長手方向への筋５８の形成が行われる。【選択図】図３
