Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion capacitor which is high in output, and in which the delamination of a negative electrode mixture accompanying gas generation is suppressed.SOLUTION: A lithium ion capacitor comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator interposed between the positive and negative electrodes; and a lithium ion-conducting electrolyte. The positive electrode includes: a positive electrode current collector; and a positive electrode active material supported by the positive electrode current collector. The negative electrode includes: a negative electrode current collector; and a negative electrode mixture supported by the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode current collector is composed of a metal porous body having a 3D mesh-like skeleton.
