Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a tumble flow of intake air, flowing into a combustion chamber through an air-intake port of a molten cylinder head, as much as possible.SOLUTION: A combustion chamber opposing wall surface, positioned opposite to a combustion chamber with respect to a central axis of a cylinder at a throat section 25 of an air-intake port 12 when the number of the air-intake port 12 mounted on each cylinder is one or of one or both of the two air-intake ports 12 when the two air-intake ports 12 are mounted on each cylinder, is manufactured with a first tool 92 inserted through an opening section of the air-intake port 12 of a cylinder head to the combustion chamber along a central axis line L1 of an air-intake valve 14 which opens and closes the opening section. A combustion chamber side wall surface, positioned at a side of the combustion chamber at the throat section 25 of the air-intake port 12 in the central axis direction of the cylinder, is manufactured with a second tool 93 inserted through the opening section along the central axis line L1 of the air-intake valve 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】鋳造により成形されたシリンダヘッドの吸気ポートから燃焼室に流入する吸気のタンブル流を出来る限り強くする。【解決手段】気筒毎の吸気ポート12の数が1つである場合の該1つの吸気ポート、又は2つである場合のいずれか1つの吸気ポート12若しくは両方の吸気ポート12のスロート部25における、気筒の中心軸方向の反燃焼室側に位置する反燃焼室側壁面を、シリンダヘッドにおける該吸気ポート12の燃焼室への開口部から、該開口部を開閉する吸気弁14の中心軸線L1に沿って挿入した第1工具92により加工するとともに、該加工する吸気ポート12のスロート部25における、気筒の中心軸方向の燃焼室側に位置する燃焼室側壁面を、上記開口部から上記吸気弁14の中心軸線L1に沿って挿入した第2工具93により加工する。【選択図】図8 |
