PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device and a management method which, when a business application called from a job scheduler cannot respond detail information during error occurrence, can determines the cause of the error on the basis of an error message of a relevant server which has occurred in the period, and acquiring inspection information which is needed, quickly.SOLUTION: A management device manages a data center having plural servers, the data center relaying transaction processing executed between a host computer of a financial institution and a consumer transaction facility. The management device is configured to: acquire pieces of job information related to a job which has been executed on the server; search for object job information containing a predetermined character string, from the acquired job information; execute a verification command associated to the object job information, to the server which has output the searched object job information for verifying an error; then, execute an inspection information acquisition command for inspecting the error state on the server on the basis of the verified verification result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ジョブスケジューラから呼び出される業務アプリケーションがエラー発生時の詳細情報を返せない場合、その間に発生した関連サーバのエラーメッセージから、原因を特定し、即座に必要な調査情報を取得することが可能な管理装置及び管理方法を提供すること。【解決手段】複数のサーバを有するデータセンタであり、金融機関のホストコンピュータと自動取引装置との間で実行する取引処理を中継するデータセンタを管理する管理装置が、サーバで実行したジョブに関するジョブ情報を取得し、取得したジョブ情報から予め定めた文字列を含む対象ジョブ情報を検索し、検索された対象ジョブ情報を出力したサーバに対して、対象ジョブ情報に対応付けられた検証コマンドを実行してエラーを検証し、検証された検証結果に基づき、サーバのエラー状況を調査するための調査情報取得コマンドを実行する。【選択図】図２
