Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched reluctance rotary machine capable of securing an installation space for a reactor and capable of decreasing an overall device size.SOLUTION: A switched reluctance motor 1 includes: a rotor 10 having an annular rotor yoke 11 and a rotor salient pole 12 projected from an outer peripheral surface 11a of the rotor yoke 11; and an outer stator 20 having a stator coil 23 facing the rotor salient pole 12.
