Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus that achieve flexible input and output at both high speed and low speed.SOLUTION: An input and output structure with high-speed input, high-speed output, moderate and low-speed input, and moderate and low-speed output is provided. One of an input circuit and an output circuit is selected and the other of them is selectively released. A high-speed input and output circuit, for example, has only a clear signal in relation to control line input, is relatively simple, and can interface with a low-speed circuit structure of the inside of an integrated circuit core. The moderate and low-speed input and output circuits are more flexible while having preset, enable, and clear as control line input, for example, and can support JTAG boundary testing.
