PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device and an automatic transaction method that are capable of conducting transaction by confirming a user only by biometric authentication without requiring time and labor at the installation side of the automatic transaction device in automatic transaction processing at the automatic transaction device with biometric authentication function.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device conducts transaction by communicating with a host computer in accordance with an operation by a user.
