PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably transport a medium and perform image formation by reducing a risk of deviation in print position and occurrence of jamming when a long medium is cut for image formation.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image formation device. The image formation device includes: an image formation part which forms an image on each medium piece of a long medium where medium pieces are attached to a long mount with a predetermined interval; a transportation part for transporting the long medium to the image formation part; a cutting part for cutting the long medium being transported by the transportation part; and a cutting position determining part which determines a cutting position at which the long medium is cut by the cutting part.
