Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter of which diameter can be made smaller and also to provide a method for manufacturing a catheter.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 comprises: a first tubular part 11 having a proximal end portion 11a sloped relative to an axial direction Z; and a second tubular part 12 having a distal end portion 12a sloped relative to the axial direction. The first tubular part and the second tubular part are joined to each other with at least a part of one of the sloped proximal end portion and the sloped distal end portion inserted into the other.
