PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towel for a pet that can wipe off the moisture adhering to the pet after washing the pet in a short time quickly and easily.SOLUTION: A towel T for a pet comprises a loop pile woven fabric 20 having loop pile 22 comprising composite twisted yarn 17. The composite twisted yarn 17 is obtained by twisting spun yarn 13 and water-soluble yarn 15. The twist direction of the composite twisted yarn 17 is reverse to the twist direction of the spun yarn 13, and the water-soluble yarn 15 is removed from the woven fabric 20 and is returned to the reverse direction to the direction where the twisted spun yarn 13 is twisted, and thereby a clearance for passing air is formed in a gap between the spun yarn 13 and a space provided by being formed in the shape of the loop pile 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ペットを洗浄した後、ペットに付着している水分を短時間で素早く且つ容易に拭き取ることができるペット用タオルを提供する。【解決手段】複合撚糸１７よりなるループパイル２２を有するループパイル織編物２０からなるペット用タオルＴであって、複合撚糸１７が紡績糸１３と水溶性糸１５を撚り合わせたものであって、複合撚糸１７の撚り方向が、紡績糸１３の撚り方向と逆であり、織編物２０から水溶性糸１５が除去されて、撚った紡績糸１３が撚った方向と逆方向に戻ることで、紡績糸１３同士の空隙及びループパイル形状２２に形成することで設けられた空間に空気の通過する隙間が形成される。【選択図】図１
