Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper structure which can efficiently absorb energy while being excellent in light weight performance and productivity.SOLUTION: A bumper structure 10 is constituted by attaching an energy absorption body 14 in which a weld line 32 is formed to a bumper beam 12 extending along a vehicle width direction Y of a vehicle body. The energy absorption body 14 has a main body part 16 having a closed cross section structure which extends along a fore-and-aft direction X of the vehicle body, and in which one end 32a of the weld line 32 is arranged at a front end of the fore-and-aft direction X.
