Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper structure which can efficiently absorb energy while being excellent in light weight performance and productivity.SOLUTION: A bumper structure 10 is constituted by attaching an energy absorption body 14 in which a weld line 32 is formed to a bumper beam 12 extending along a vehicle width direction Y of a vehicle body. The energy absorption body 14 has a main body part 16 having a closed cross section structure which extends along a fore-and-aft direction X of the vehicle body, and in which one end 32a of the weld line 32 is arranged at a front end of the fore-and-aft direction X. An inclination angle θ with respect to a first virtual line L2, out of an opening 18, of an arrangement line L1 being a virtual line passing through a cross point Q between a first virtual line L2, out of the opening 18 of the main body part 16 at a front end, the first virtual line extending along the vehicle width direction Y while passing through a first middle point being a middle point between an upper end and a lower end of the vehicle body in a vertical direction Z, and a second virtual line L3 extending to the vertical direction Z while passing through a second middle point being a middle point between one end and the other end of the vehicle width direction Y, and one end 32a of the weld line 32 is within 30°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】軽量性及び生産性に優れながら、エネルギーを効率的に吸収することが可能なバンパ構造体を提供する。【解決手段】バンパ構造体10は、車体の車幅方向Yに沿って延在するバンパビーム12に、ウェルドライン32が形成されたエネルギー吸収体14を取り付けて構成される。エネルギー吸収体14は、車体の前後方向Xに沿って延在する閉断面構造の本体部16を有し、前後方向Xの前端部にウェルドライン32の一端32aが配置される。本体部16の前端の開口18のうち、車体の上下方向Zの上端と下端の中点である第1中点を通って車幅方向Yに沿って延在する第1仮想線L2と、開口18のうち、車幅方向Yの一端と他端の中点である第2中点を通って上下方向Zに延在する第2仮想線L3との交点Qと、ウェルドライン32の一端32aとを通る仮想線である配置線L1の第1仮想線L2に対する傾斜角度θが30°以内である。【選択図】図2
