Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surly seal a fuel battery single cell with a separator.SOLUTION: First and second separators of a fuel battery single cell 1 include: first and second passage forming regions; and first and second projection parts 10a and 10c formed to a peripheral part so as to project outward in a thickness direction S of the fuel battery single cell while surrounding the regions. The first projection part can be elastically deformed in the thickness direction, and the second projection part includes: a pair of standing parts 17 standing from the peripheral part; and a contacting part 16 expanding between the standing parts. A plurality of fuel battery single cells are laminated so that one first separator and the other second separator of adjacent two fuel battery single cells are faced, and the fuel cell stack is formed. A fluid channel is formed between the first and second separators by the first and second channel forming regions, the first projection part and the contact part are contacted, and a seal part 9 surrounding the fluid channel is formed.
