Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a vehicular internal combustion engine and a control method, capable of obtaining warm-up performance equivalent to performance at a high outside air temperature while suppressing abnormal combustion at a low outside air temperature.SOLUTION: A cooling device for a vehicular internal combustion engine includes an electric water pump for circulating coolant, a bypass line for bypassing a radiator, and a flow control valve for controlling coolant flow circulating the bypass line.
