Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel for Cu brazing having suppressed grain boundary permeability of Cu braze generated during Cu blazing while maintaining anticorrosion level which a stainless steel has and excellent in Cu grain boundary permeability resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a ferritic stainless steel having a component composition containing, by wt.%, C:0.03% or less, Si:0.1 to 3.0%, Mn:0.1 to 2.0%, P:0.04% or less, S:0.003% or less, Cr:10.0 to 30.0%, Nb:0.3 to 0.8%, N:0.03% or less and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, suppressing grain boundary depth of Cu braze with 5 μm or less from a boundary surface in a thickness direction and excellent in Cu grain boundary permeability resistance during Cu blazing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
