Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording device in which the power of recording light to be delivered to the medium is improved by suppressing the change in light transmission at the time of exposure/light-shielding of the liquid crystal shutter.SOLUTION: A hologram recording device 10 records multiplexed data of a plurality of pages. A liquid crystal shutter 303b transmits (exposed state) or blocks (light-shielded state) the light from a light source 301 by changing the transmission with the voltage applied by a shutter control unit 87. If the exposure time T1 of the liquid crystal shutter 303b is changed in accordance with the page to record, the duty ratio (=T1/(T1+T2), T2 represents the light-shielding time) of the exposure time in each page is maintained substantially constant.
