Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detector and a rotation angle detector that can calculate a temperature of a resolver in real time.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detector 10 (temperature detector) includes: a resolver 20 with an excitation coil receiving application of an excitation voltage VA and output coils outputting voltage signals VB and VC corresponding to the excitation voltage VA wound; and a temperature calculating section (sensor microcomputer 32) detecting the respective phases of the excitation voltage VA and an excitation current IA and calculating the temperature of the resolver 20 based on the phase difference between the excitation voltage VA and the excitation current IA.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】リアルタイムにレゾルバの温度を演算することのできる温度検出装置及び回転角検出装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】回転角検出装置10(温度検出装置)は、励磁電圧VAが印加される励磁コイル及び励磁電圧VAに応じた各電圧信号VB,VCを出力する各出力コイルが巻回されてなるレゾルバ20と、励磁電圧VAについて位相を検出するとともに、励磁電流IAについて位相を検出する温度演算部(センサマイコン32)を備える。そして、温度演算部(センサマイコン32)は、励磁電圧VAと励磁電流IAとの位相差に基づきレゾルバ20における温度を演算する。【選択図】図1
