Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component absorption column which does not allow ununiformity in blood flow having flowed into the inside of the column, can ensure a large contact area between blood and a blood component absorption body, does not allow a blood amount circulated outside a body to be large, and therefor can prevent reduction in blood pressure.SOLUTION: The blood component absorption column includes: a body case 1 including at both edges, a blood inflow port, which blood before purification flows into, and a blood outflow port, which blood after the purification flows out through; and a blood component absorption body 8 accommodated in the body case. In a center shaft of the blood component absorption body, a blood passage is present which is communicated with either the blood inflow port or blood outflow port and the blood component absorption body. The blood component absorption body is formed by winding a solid fiber 4 continuously in the periphery of the center shaft in a helical shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】カラムの内部に流入した血液の流れが不均一にならず、血液と血液成分吸着体との接触面積を広く確保することができ、それでいて、体外に循環される血液量が多くならない、結果として血圧低下を防止できる血液成分吸着カラムを提供する。【解決手段】浄化前の血液が流入する血液流入口と浄化後の血液が流出する血液流出口とを両端に有する本体ケース1と、本体ケース内に収納された血液成分吸着体8と、を備え、血液成分吸着体の中心軸には、血液流入口又は血液流出口のいずれか一方、及び血液成分吸着体に連通する血液流路が存在し、血液成分吸着体は、中実繊維4が中心軸の周囲に連続してらせん状に巻かれている。【選択図】図1
