Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen inspection automatization system and a method for checking a specimen with which it is possible to inspect specimens automatically without delaying a turn-around time (TAT) even when a large amount of specimens need to be processed.SOLUTION: Among the units constituting a specimen inspection automatization system 110, the weights of a container and a specimen are measured by a weight measurement part of a specimen supply unit 105 positioned upstream from a liquid quantity measurement unit 107, the specimen weight is then converted into a liquid quantity, which is compared with a liquid quantity needed for inspection, and the specimen is thereby subjected to screening by an operation control unit 101 to see if liquid quantity measurement is required.
