Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus of a mechanical parking system, which can shorten a user's waiting time, the mechanical parking system, a control method, and a control program.SOLUTION: A vacant pallet 16P is arranged in a storage and retrieval part 14 during a period when the storage and retrieval of a vehicle 12 are not performed. When the vehicle 12 is put into storage, a storage object vehicle 12R is loaded on the vacant pallet 16P serving as the storage and retrieval part.
