Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, image processing method and program capable of reducing a load of image processing.SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: extraction means for extracting a feature point of a subject in a frame of a video image picked up by at least one imaging means in two imaging means; matching means for performing a matching operation for retrieving a feature point that coincides with a feature point in the next frame of a frame with the feature point reflected therein; determination means for determining whether the feature point disappears in the next frame on the basis of a result of the matching operation; prediction means for acquiring a prediction point at which the position of the disappeared feature point is predicted on the basis of an operation of a replacement point that replaces the disappeared feature point in the case that the determination means determines that the feature point disappears; and return means for returning a point based on the prediction point as a feature point being a tracking object in the case that the point based on the prediction point coincides with the feature point before disappearance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
