PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple evaluation method of oil capable of correctly evaluating the presence of oil (specifically, oil in contaminated soil) and the amount of oil while being a simple method.SOLUTION: A simple evaluation method of oil includes: a lipid-soluble dye solution blending step of blending a lipid-soluble dye solution to an oil film present on a water surface; and an irradiation step of irradiating the water surface with ultraviolet rays or infrared rays after the lipid-soluble dye solution blending step, and the presence of oil and/or the amount of oil can be evaluated according to a degree of light emission from the oil film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】簡単な方法でありながら正確に油（特に汚染土壌の油）の有無、油量の多少を評価することができる油の簡易評価方法が望まれていた。【解決手段】本発明に係る油の簡易評価方法は、水面に存在する油膜に脂溶性色素溶液を混合する脂溶性色素溶液混合工程と、脂溶性色素溶液混合工程の後に、水面に紫外線または赤外線を照射する照射工程を有し、油膜の発光度合から油の有無または／および油量の多少を評価することを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
