PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition and a prepreg which are stable to thermal hysteresis at the time of production and storage/conveyance and are extremely excellent in storage stability; and an epoxy resin composition exhibiting excellent mechanical characteristics as a fiber-reinforced composite material.SOLUTION: An epoxy resin composition contains the following components [A] an epoxy resin, [B] dicyandiamide, [C] aromatic urea and [D] boric acid ester, and satisfies the following conditions [a] and [b], [a] an average epoxy equivalent of the whole epoxy resin is 165 g/eq or more and 265 g/eq or less, and [b] the component [A] contains 10 to 50 pts.mass of a tri- or higher functional glycidyl amine type epoxy resin [A1] in 100 pts.mass of the whole epoxy resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】製造時および保管・輸送時の熱履歴に対し安定で、保管安定性に極めて優れたエポキシ樹脂組成物およびプリプレグを提供すること、かつ繊維強化複合材料として優れた機械特性を示すエポキシ樹脂組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】次の成分［Ａ］、［Ｂ］、［Ｃ］、［Ｄ］を含み、下記条件［ａ］および［ｂ］を満たすことを特徴とするエポキシ樹脂組成物。［Ａ］：エポキシ樹脂［Ｂ］：ジシアンジアミド［Ｃ］：芳香族ウレア［Ｄ］：ホウ酸エステル［ａ］：全エポキシ樹脂の平均エポキシ当量が１６５ｇ／ｅｑ以上２６５ｇ／ｅｑ以下である。［ｂ］：成分［Ａ］が［Ａ１］３官能以上のグリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂を、全エポキシ樹脂１００質量部中１０質量部〜５０質量部含む。【選択図】なし
