PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing inorganic powder sintered compact suitable for the suppression of cracks, deformation or the like upon firing a large-sized molded body.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an inorganic powder sintered compact where a molded body of inorganic powder is mounted on a firing fixture and is fired. The firing fixture includes: a plurality of supporting members for partially supporting the molded body; and a base to be mounted with the supporting members.
