PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a viewer from having a discomfort feeling because an unnatural motion occurs in an image of a subject appearing in a display image during display of a composite image in a moving picture mode when images picked up by plural cameras are subjected to parallax correction for deforming images according to parallax and combined.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises a parallax correction amount calculator 11 for calculating a parallax correction amount corresponding to the parallax between two adjacent pickup images, a filter 12 for restricting a temporal variation amount to the parallax correction amount output from the parallax correction amount calculator, a parallax corrector 15 for performing parallax correction processing on the pickup images based on the parallax correction amount output from the filter, and an image composer 16 for performing image composition processing on a parallax correction image output from the parallax corrector and outputting a composite image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】複数のカメラにより撮像された撮像画像に対して、視差に応じて画像を変形する視差補正を実施して合成する場合に、合成画像を動画で表示する際に、表示画像に現れる被写体の像に不自然な動きが生じて見る人に違和感を与えることを避けることができるようにする。【解決手段】隣り合う２つの撮像画像間の視差に対応する視差補正量を算出する視差補正量算出部１１と、この視差補正量算出部から出力される視差補正量に対して時間的な変化量を制限するフィルタ１２と、このフィルタから出力される視差補正量に基づいて、撮像画像に対して視差補正処理を行う視差補正部１５と、この視差補正部から出力される視差補正画像に対して画像合成処理を行って合成画像を出力する画像合成部１６と、を備えたものとする。【選択図】図５
