PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce the contact of a medium with an ejecting surface having a plurality of nozzles installed thereon.SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting head includes an ejecting surface extending in a first direction (X direction) and having a plurality of nozzles N distributed thereon to eject liquid, and a projected part 60 projected toward a liquid ejecting side to which the liquid is ejected. The ejecting surface has an abutment area L on which a sealing body for surrounding and sealing the plurality of nozzles abuts.
