Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce the contact of a medium with an ejecting surface having a plurality of nozzles installed thereon.SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting head includes an ejecting surface extending in a first direction (X direction) and having a plurality of nozzles N distributed thereon to eject liquid, and a projected part 60 projected toward a liquid ejecting side to which the liquid is ejected. The ejecting surface has an abutment area L on which a sealing body for surrounding and sealing the plurality of nozzles abuts. When the projected part 60 is disposed on the ejecting surface so that the abutment area L and the projected part are projected along a first direction on a virtual line Vt along a second direction (Y direction) intersecting the first direction (X direction), the projection 60' of the projected part can be over the boundary of the projection L' of the abutment area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】複数のノズルが設置された噴射面に対する媒体の接触を有効に低減する。【解決手段】液体噴射ヘッドは、第1方向(X方向)に延在し、液体を噴射する複数のノズルNが分布する噴射面と、噴射面に形成され、液体が噴射される液体噴射側に向けて突出する突起部60とを具備する。噴射面は複数のノズルを囲んで封止する封止体が当接する当接領域Lを有し、その当接領域Lと突起部とを第1方向(X方向)に交差する第2方向(Y方向)に沿った仮想線Vt上に第1方向に沿って射影したときに、突起部の射影60'が当接領域の射影L'の境界を跨ぐように、噴射面に突起部60を配置した。【選択図】図9
