Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid risk with increased reliability when a risky vehicle travels in surroundings.SOLUTION: A driving support device 10 comprises: risk level estimation means 102 that estimates a risk level of a following vehicle which travels behind a subject vehicle 20; and lamp control means 104 that turns on a brake lamp 212 in accordance with deceleration of the subject vehicle 20. The lamp control means 104 turns on the brake lamp 212 based on a result of comparison between a value in accordance with a deceleration of the subject vehicle 20 and a threshold in accordance with a preset deceleration for turning on the brake lamp, and changes the threshold on the basis of the risk level of the following vehicle. The risk level estimation means 102 searches license plate information of the following vehicle for accident history information of the following vehicle, and estimates the risk level. The lamp control means 104 sets the threshold for turning on the brake lamp 212 to be smaller as the risk level of the following vehicle becomes higher, and makes the brake lamp 212 easy to turn on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】周囲に危険車両が走行している場合に、より確実に危険を回避すること。【解決手段】運転支援装置10は、自車両20の前方を走行する後続車両の危険度を推定する危険度推定手段102と、自車両20の減速度に応じてブレーキランプ212を点灯させるランプ制御手段104とを備える。ランプ制御手段104は、自車両20の減速度に応じた値と、ブレーキランプ点灯用の予め設定した減速度に応じた閾値との比較結果に基づきブレーキランプ212を点灯させ、後続車両の危険度に基づいて閾値を変更する。危険度推定手段102は、後続車両のナンバープレート情報から後続車両の事故履歴情報を検索して危険度を推定する。ランプ制御手段104は、後続車両の危険度が高いほどブレーキランプ212を点灯させる閾値を小さくしてブレーキランプ212が点灯しやすくする。【選択図】図1
