Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of auxiliary equipment cooling performance while promoting the warming-up of a heater core.SOLUTION: A cooling device for an engine includes a heater circulation passage including an exhaust side flow path passing through the exhaust port side of a cylinder head, and a heater side flow path passing through the heater core, an auxiliary equipment circulation passage including a main flow path passing through another portion than the exhaust port side of the cylinder head, and an auxiliary equipment side flow path passing through auxiliary equipment, temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of the engine, and a flow path switching valve for connecting the main flow path and the auxiliary equipment side flow path and for connecting the heater circulation passage and the auxiliary equipment circulation passage. When the detected temperature is within a first temperature range, the main flow path and the auxiliary equipment side flow path are not connected, when the detected temperature is within a second temperature range higher than the first temperature range, the main flow path and the auxiliary equipment side flow path are connected but the heater circulation passage and the auxiliary equipment circulation passage are not connected, and when the detected temperature is within a third temperature range higher than the second temperature range, the main flow path and the auxiliary equipment side flow path are connected and the heater circulation passage and the auxiliary equipment circulation passage are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】ヒータコアの暖機を促進しつつ、補機に対する冷却性能の低下を抑制すること。【解決手段】シリンダヘッドの排気ポート側を通過する排気側流路およびヒータコアを通過するヒータ側流路を含むヒータ用循環経路と、シリンダヘッドの排気ポート側以外の部分を通過するメイン流路および補機を通過する補機側流路を含む補機用循環経路と、エンジンの温度を検出する温度検出手段と、メイン流路と補機側流路の接続と、ヒータ用循環経路と補機用循環経路の接続とを行う流路切替弁とを備え、検出温度が第1温度範囲にあるときにはメイン流路と補機側流路を接続せず、検出温度が第1温度範囲より高い第2温度範囲にあるときにはメイン流路と補機側流路を接続し、ヒータ用循環経路と補機用循環経路を接続せず、検出温度が第2温度範囲より高い第3温度範囲にあるときには、メイン流路と補機側流路を接続し、ヒータ用循環経路と補機用循環経路を接続する。【選択図】図6 |
