Each of the dye-sensitized solar cells 40 includes: an electrode 20 provided with an electron transport layer 24 on a light-transmissive conductive substrate 14; a counter electrode 30 arranged so as to face the electrode 20; an interposed layer 26 interposed between the electrode 20 and the counter electrode 30; and a hole transport layer 28 existing between the interposed layer 26 and the counter electrode 30.
