PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain ditch unit which consists of a water channel and a cover detachably fitted to the water channel, and is installed along balustrades on road shoulders, and which prevents the cover from coming out of the water channel and jumping up, even when a tire of a vehicle runs over the cover.SOLUTION: An insertion part 32 laterally protruding toward a balustrade 26A is arranged on a road-surface-side side wall 21c constituting a water channel 21, and on the other hand, a support pin 23 and a stopper 24 are arranged on a balustrade-side side wall 21b oppositely to the insertion part 32. A cover 22 comprises a lateral part 22a and a vertical part 22b, and has an insertion hole 33 of which the groove width is greater than the thickness of the insertion part 32 formed on a suspension part 22c suspended from the road-surface-side end of the lateral part. Attachment and detachment of the cover 22 are performed by turning the cover while shifting it along the insertion part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】水路部と、該水路部に取外し可能に取付けられるカバー部よりなり、道路の路肩の欄干に沿って設置される排水溝ユニットにおいて、カバー部上に車両のタイヤが乗り上げてもカバー部が水路部より外れて撥ね上がることがないようにする。【解決手段】水路部２１を構成する路面側の側壁部２１ｃに欄干２６に向かって側方に突出する差込部３２を設ける一方、欄干側の側壁部２１ｂに支持ピン２３と、ストッパー２４を差込部３２と向かい合わせに設ける。カバー部２２は横部２２ａと縦部ｂを有し、路面側の横部端より垂下する垂下部２２ｃに溝幅が差込部３２の肉厚より大である差込孔３３を形成し、カバー部２２の着脱は差込部３２に沿ってずらしながら旋回させることにより行う。【選択図】図６
