PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoration system for a recording head that can suppress deformation of wipers and suppress deterioration in image quality.SOLUTION: A restoration system for recording heads 17a-17c comprises wipers 35a-35c, a driving mechanism and a control part 110. The control part 110 can execute operation for restoring the recording heads 17a-17c including: ink extrusion operation by which ink 22 is forcibly extruded; wiping operation by which purge ink 22a is wiped; first separation operation by which wipers 35a-35c are separated from an ink discharge surface F; and pressing operation by which the wipers 35a-35c are pressed against a pressing member 60 while moving the wipers 35a-35c in a second direction.
