Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system in which occurrence of abnormal noise by a decompression mechanism is prevented, and a saddle-riding type vehicle equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A decompression mechanism DE includes a centrifugal member 51, a driving member 52 and a bias member 53. In starting of an engine 10, when a rotation speed of a crankshaft 13 is lower than a switching speed, the centrifugal member 51 is kept at a low speed position by biasing force of the bias member 53. When the rotation speed of the crankshaft 13 becomes higher than the switching speed, the centrifugal member 51 is kept at a high speed position by centrifugal force. In an idling stop period, when the rotation speed of the crankshaft 13 becomes equal to or lower than a brake start speed that is higher than the switching speed, a rotary electric machine 30 is controlled such that the crankshaft 13 is braked. The centrifugal member 51 is kept at the low speed position or the high speed position by inertia force generated in braking of the crankshaft 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 【課題】デコンプ機構による異音の発生が防止されたエンジンシステムおよびそれを備えた鞍乗り型車両を提供する。【解決手段】デコンプ機構DEは、遠心部材51、駆動部材52および付勢部材53を含む。エンジン10の始動時において、クランク軸13の回転速度が切替速度より低いときには、遠心部材51が付勢部材53の付勢力によって低速位置に保持される。クランク軸13の回転速度が切替速度より高くなると、遠心力によって遠心部材51が高速位置に保持される。アイドリングストップ期間において、クランク軸13の回転速度が切替速度より高い制動開始速度以下になると、クランク軸13が制動されるように回転電機30が制御される。遠心部材51は、クランク軸13の制動時に生じる慣性力により低速位置または高速位置に保持される。【選択図】図13
