PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds and compositions that preferentially inhibits a pro-inflammatory response for the treatment of chronic inflammations, and a delivery system that enables the compositions to be more effectively delivered or targeted to a cell type, tissue, organ, or region of the body, in a manner that the compositions more effectively inhibit a pro-inflammatory response.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising: a therapeutic compound that can have anti-inflammatory activity; a pharmaceutically-acceptable solvent; a pharmaceutically-acceptable adjuvant that is a drug that modifies the action of other drugs (for example, previous therapeutic compounds).
