Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical reading apparatus which secures illuminance within an illumination range without displacing relative positions of a lens array that determines an optical reading position and a light guide body that determines an illumination position in the case where a frame is warped in a length direction of the optical reading apparatus, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A frame 2 of an optical reading apparatus comprises: a surface on which two semi-columnar light guides are mounted for illuminating an object to be read oppositely to each other; and a lens housing chamber 2a for fixing a lens array which is shaped while being warped inwards and displaced in a sub scanning direction by a predetermined amount, for converging a reflection light from the object to be read and making the converged light incident to a light-receiving element. In manufacturing, a lens array 3 is inserted into the lens housing chamber 2a after correcting warpage of the frame 2 in such directions 13a and 13b that the warpage is cancelled, and while maintaining such a state, the lens array is adhered and fixed with the frame 2 on both side surfaces 8a-8f of the lens array.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】光学式読取装置の長手方向にフレームが反った場合に光学式読取位置を決定するレンズアレイと照明位置を決定する導光体の相対位置にずれを発生させず、照明範囲における照度を確保する光学式読取装置及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】光学式読取装置のフレーム2は、被読取体を対向照明するための2個の半円柱状導光体を取り付ける面と、副走査方向に所定量の内反り変形した形状であって、被読取体からの反射光を集光して受光素子に入射させるためのレンズアレイを固定するためのレンズ収納室2aを有する。製造時はフレーム2の反りを解消する13a、13b方向に矯正したうえでレンズアレイ3をレンズ収納室2aに挿入し、その状態のままレンズアレイの両側面8a〜8fにおいてフレーム2と接着固定する。【選択図】図5
