Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for an electrical component in which a terminal forming projection part projected and formed in a lower part of an electric component main body is inserted to an insertion part of the socket for electrical component, and of which both contact parts are electrically connected, capable of easily and surely performing a position adjustment of the terminal forming projection part and the insertion part.SOLUTION: A socket for an electrical component 10 comprises: a socket main body 20 to which a housing part 21 that houses an electric component 11 having a terminal forming projection part 11d that is projected to a lower part of an electric component main body 11a and to which a terminal 11c is formed; an insertion part 100 to which the terminal forming projection part is inserted in the housing part; an electric conductive member 30 that is electrically connected between the inserted terminal and a wiring board 110; a guide part 50 that is contacted to a side surface part 11f of the inserted terminal forming projection part, and is positions the terminal forming projection part to a position to which the terminal and the electric conductive member are contacted; and movable means 60 that moves the guide part to an opening position separated from the terminal forming projection part and a contact position pressing with a force so as to position the terminal forming projection part at a predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電気部品本体の下方に突出形成された端子形成突部を電気部品用ソケットの挿入部に挿入して、双方の接触部を電気的に接続する電気部品用ソケットで、端子形成突部と挿入部との位置調整を簡単かつ確実に行うことができる。【解決手段】電気部品用ソケット10で、電気部品本体11aの下方に突出して端子11cが形成された端子形成突部11dを有する電気部品11を収容する収容部21が設けられたソケット本体20を有し、収容部には端子形成突部が挿入される挿入部100を有し、挿入された端子と配線基板110との間を電気的に接続する電気導通部材30を有し、挿入された端子形成突部の側面部11fに当接し、端子と電気導通部材とが接触する位置に端子形成突部を位置決めするガイド部50を有し、ガイド部を、端子形成突部から離間した開放位置と、端子形成突部を所定位置に位置決めするように押圧する当接位置と、に可動させる可動手段60を有する。【選択図】図1
