Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve coexistence between a WRAN (IEEE802.22) and a WLAN (IEEE802.11af).SOLUTION: A network management unit equipped in a WRAN base station communicates with a differentiate system coexistence function unit equipped in a relay station, using a WRAN radio channel, so that a frequency channel used in a WLAN is determined and managed. Typically, in regard to the frequency channel, a WRAN and the WLAN synchronize a transmission stop period (QP), and absence confirmation of a primary user is performed in the QP. When the WRAN shares an identical frequency with the WLAN in time division, the base station 1 does not transmit a signal for frame control, to put a WRAN terminal into a non-transmission state, and during the above period, the WLAN performs communication. The relay station 2 notifies in advance the WLAN terminal of a WRAN communication period as the QP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】WRAN(IEEE802.22)とWLAN(IEEE802.11af)の共存を実現する。【解決手段】WRANの基地局に具備されているネットワーク管理部と中継局に具備されている異システム共存機能部がWRANの無線回線を利用して通信を行い、WLANが用いる周波数チャネルの決定、管理をする。具体的には、該周波数チャネルについてWRANとWLANが送信停止期間(QP)を同期し、QPにおいて一次利用者の不在確認を行う。また、WRANとWLANが同一周波数を時分割で共用する場合には、基地局1がフレーム制御のための信号を無送信とすることでWRANの端末を無送信状態にし、この間にWLANが通信を行う。WRANが通信を行う期間は、中継局2があらかじめWLAN端末にQPとして通知しておく。【選択図】図6
