Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control system capable of realizing both a vehicle state association with a driver's intention of intentionally automatically starting an engine in an N range state and a vehicle state associated with a driver's intention of unintentionally automatically starting the engine in the N range state.SOLUTION: Included are an engine control unit that autonomously starts an engine when a predetermined starting condition is satisfied, a braking force retention unit that retains the braking force of a vehicle when the vehicle is at a halt until the engine is automatically started after the engine is automatically stopped, and that retains the braking force under a predetermined condition even after the automatic start is initiated. When the engine is automatically stopped and the vehicle is halted, if the predetermined starting condition is satisfied with the shift position of the vehicle set to a neutral position, as long as the duration of the neutral position exceeds a predetermined time, the braking force retention unit releases retention of the braking force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】意図的にNレンジの状態でエンジンを自動始動させる運転者の意思に対応する車両状態の実現と、意図せずNレンジの状態でエンジンを自動始動させる運転者の意思に対応する車両状態の実現を両立させることが可能な車両用制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】所定の始動条件を満足した場合に前記エンジンを自動始動させるエンジン制御部と、少なくとも自動停止から前記自動始動の開始までの前記車両の停車中において、前記車両の制動力を保持する制動力保持部であって、前記自動始動の開始後も所定の条件下で前記制動力の保持を継続する制動力保持部を備え、前記制動力保持部は、前記エンジンの自動停止中且つ前記車両の停車中において、前記車両のシフト位置がニュートラルポジションである状態で前記所定の始動条件を満足した場合であって、前記ニュートラルポジションの継続時間が所定時間を超えている場合、前記制動力の保持を解除する。【選択図】図3
