Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lower body structure which enables the riding comfort and operation stability to be improved by enhancing the rigidity of the lower vehicle body against force input from rear wheels.SOLUTION: In a vehicle lower body structure, front end parts of trailing arms 12 are swingably supported by support brackets 3 attached to left and right rear side members 2. Further, coupling members 20 which extend to the front side and are coupled to the rear side members 2 in a vehicle width direction, are disposed at the left and right support brackets 3. A closed cross section A is formed by the coupling member 20, the support bracket 3, and the rear side member 2. A contact part 20g which contacts with a front wall part 3c of the support bracket 3 in a vehicle fore and aft direction is formed in each coupling member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】後輪からの入力に対する下部車体の剛性を高めることにより、乗り心地,操縦安定性を向上できる自動車の下部車体構造を提供する。【解決手段】左,右のリヤサイドメンバ2に取り付けられた支持ブラケット3によりトレーリングアーム12の前端部を揺動可能に支持する自動車の下部車体構造において、左,右の支持ブラケット3に前方に延び、かつリヤサイドメンバ2に車幅方向に結合される結合部材20を配設し、該結合部材20、支持ブラケット3及びリヤサイドメンバ2で閉断面Aを形成するとともに、前記結合部材20に支持ブラケット3の前壁部3cに車両前後方向に当接する当接部20gを形成する。【選択図】図2
